Therapy

While I'm waiting for my shoulder to heal I'm stretching and moving it as much as I can. Sitting around and not moving it just makes this process a lot longer. There is some pain involved , but well worth it as far as I'm concerned. When I went back to the doctor he got on my ass for not wearing my sling for 10 days. I only wore it for 2 days and that was all I could stand. So I started my own therapy program. It involves my Honda 50 ,one of the 4 wheelers and Barrys bike. Last September Barry had a problem with his bike while we were getting ready for a Trial. The shifter pin broke out of the case. If you look close at the picture you can see the break in the lower center of the picture below.

Now this isn't a big deal to fix . Just beat it back into place and put some weld around it on both sides and your all fixed up. Oh did I mention that this is on the inside of the motor so you have to completely disassemble the motor to get to it. Thanks to the nice folks at B&J Racing we got it tore apart so it could be welded.

A little weld in all the right spots and we are on our way to recovery.

Here is the finished product ready for a little cleaning and reassembly. I want to thank Bob and PeeWee for letting me come out and work on Barrys bike and just hang out. I've learned a few things and got to work my shoulder. Thanks guys this is truly some of the best therapy a man could get. Now it time to head out in the garage and do some work on the Honda 50.

Too cool! Thanks Capt for all the work. Thanks to the B&J Crew for all the help. A breakdown like that would no doubt be the end of the Yamaha if it wasn't for you guys. Lord (and everyone else)knows that I don't know shit about anything mechanical. Now if Bob needs a little therapy and wants to teach me how to ride the damn thing, that would greatly be appreciated!

I deleted the last post because I misspelled a word and couldn't deal with the criticism
