Learning curve.

Last weekend the boys and I joined PeeWee at the ranch for some practice and to lay out some sections for the 2 day National championship Trials on the 29th and 30th this month. This was Troys first time to ride the ranch so Barry was trying to explain to Troy that we brought him to this very spot his first time out and tried to kill him.

This time around Barry was a lot more comfortable after riding a trials and seeing the Ranch before. Troy done alright for the first time out. This place is not for the faint of heart.

This was also Barry's first time as well as Troy to go down the creek. This is a very important piece of the puzzle. If you can ride the creek you can win most trials anywhere else.

You can tell from this picture that Barry is having a ball. If you only could have been there the first time he rode this spot.

Once again, thanks for letting me borrow the Cow. I may be grinning from ear to ear in that picture but that isn't always the case at the ranch. I felt a lot better about this last tour of the ranch. I didn't have to repair any divots from my helmet bouncing off the dirt.

So, what would a helmet divot repair tool be? Maybe a pitchfork....
