Golf 4/24/07

Tuesday was a great day for golf. It was overcast and supposed to rain , but never did. Temp's in the 70's just a nice day. The score's could have matched the weather , but it didn't work out that way. Here you see The Beast on the last hole where his ball got on the cartpath , jumped threw the fence , went across the jogging trail and finally stopped. thats the way the whole day went for us.
I didn't get any scores from Dave and Larry but here is what I got.

Bowling and golf

Monday night was a big night at the bowling center as the Seamen went up against Gettin Wood. This father and son duel is one of the hottest contested matches in the middle Tennessee area. With the Seamen count down due to a elbow injury to Allen. The Seamen went up against Gettin Wood with all they had. A spotty first game that put Gettin Wood standing tall and looking good. The Seamen come back in the second game leaving the Wood a little soft in the middle. Some good stroking by Caulkboy in the last game ( only missing a 300 by 87 pins ) got the Wood back up for the win. As any good Cpt. , I blame myself as I was 35 pins under my average the first game.

Erin's birthday

We celebrated Erin's 7th birthday today at the We Skate Skate Center . There was plenty of fun to had by all and a little pizza , cupcakes and such. Here you see everyone enjoying some pizza just before she opens her presents. I couldn't get any good pictures of them skating due to poor lighting.
I did get this one of Ryan kicking it up and having fun.
Happy Birthday Erin , Mom and Dave.

golf 4/7

This is the scores from last Tue's. I'm playing with a new toy Barry set up for me. Hopefully the weather will allow us to play this Tue's.
As you can see the Beast hasn't let up on us at all. He's still playing well. Maybe I can keep the ball out of the water and improve my score a little. It was good to have Dave back after a couple of weeks off.

Trial at R.Q.

March25th was the second Trials we had at R.Q.'s Vintage Acre's.Beautiful weather and a wonderful place. As you can see a the sections were a challenge to say the least.
Once again R.Q. had the Med-a-vac helicopter come out and we were glad we didn't need it. He also had a radio controlled air show that was pretty cool and the Boy scouts putting on lunch.
Thanks to Fearless Charlie Nash for letting Team Green take over his camp site. Photo's by Julie who got a picture of all the riders there. Most of them were up right.
