More camper

Friday I went to the scrap yard and found some metal to start working on the deck that will support the 2 Kawasaki's and anything else that might not fit inside.

Nate came over Christmas eve and helped me with the first stage of the project. Some welding , cutting and grinding , fitting the deck to the camper. A lot of head scratching and on the fly engineering was the way the day went.

The results so far look good , but now we have to figure out how to get all of the bikes on it and get them to stay on it. I would sure hate to see someone hit a Kaw on the road.

Money Pit 2

I made a deposit in the money pit this past weekend , but it was a deposit of labor so to speak. Troy , Barry and Nate came over to help me finish up the ceiling and hang the cabinet's back up.

Putting in the last piece of the plywood puzzle was a breeze with all this help. All I had to do was take a picture every now and then and go back in the garage and stand by the heater.

After all the cabinet's were installed , the microwave and refrigerator Troy and Nate done a bang up job of cleaning the inside.

The inspector's showed up to make sure all things were to their liking. We passed with flying colors. Now we need a place to pull into to seal the roof and we'll be set.

ChuckEcheese Hell

Saturday was Brooklyn's third Birthday. Her wish was to go to ChuckEcheese. Not the favorite place of adults , but sometimes you have to make a sacrifice to make the kids happy.

As you can tell from this picture Brooklyn had a good time. I wish they still sold beer!

End and beginning

Why did the Chicken cross the road?......To get a new fender from B&J.

Bruce Carmen and his BSA Chicken was trying to win the Nubbie on Saturday but fell just short. Bruce took the Chicken home and choked it back in shape for the ride on Sunday.
A nice weekend for a trials , temps in the 40's and sunshine. A little cool just standing around but was great for riding. A great trials with plenty of challenges.
Congrats to Nubbie on his first win riding a virgin motorcycle.
