Scores

Monday was week Three of Thirty two. The Seamen are getting off to a rough start. Winning just 8 points out of a possible 21. It's still early though. There's some ass whipping's coming. Monday I shot 201 , 163 ,182. Henry shot 167 , 148 , 137. This could be a good thing because we normally start strong and then fizzle out at the end. This might give us the drive to finish strong. Or drink more?
TUESDAY was golf day. Weather in the 70's and dry.

You couldn't ask for a better day. Once again the scores wasn't the best , but we had a good time. One thing that will improve your score is to stay out of the tree's. On #3 my drive hit a tree , my 2nd shot hit a tree , my 3d shot hit a tree , my 4th shot was in the sand. Maybe I should be a lumber jack.

Money pit

As if I don't have enough to do. I continue to spend every penny I have on Big Boy Toys. My latest purchase is a 21 foot 1980 Chevy motor home.

This is going to be a motorcycle hauling , spend the night , party , party bunch of fun. There's nothing like hauling a 30 year old motorcycle with a 26 year old camper. What makes this thing so perfect is it already has a Kawasaki stripe on it.

At this point it has a leak in the top , but I'm working on that. A nice deck will be added to the back to haul the 2 mighty Kawasaki's. A 350 motor with 61,000 miles on it should last for a long time. I couldn't pass it up for a $1000. I,ve already been offered $2000 sight unseen. I may be coming to a town near you. I haven't talked Patsy into breaking it in :( .

I'm back

Sorry it's been so long , but sometimes you just get busy. We started bowling on 9/11. The first night I started good but kinda fell apart the last game with a 208 , 198, 140. This week I was a little more consistent with a 166 ,197 ,171. The last two weeks of golf I shot 48 both weeks.
This past Sunday we had a trials at Vintage acres a place that is owned by a retired fighter pilot in Korea. PeeWee took this photo of me getting my first place award. What a cool place. A nice sized pond that you could fish in. You could catch fish until you were tired of it. That's a good thing.

Here is a picture of PeeWee and Sam fishing. In the back you can see the plane hanger where we had the awards presentation.

The Boyscouts came and cooked lunch for the riders.

R.Q. even had a life flight helicopter come out so everybody could get a good look at it. A great place for a Trials and just a good ol time. Thanks to Sam for letting me stay in his motor home.

Titans Game

This past Sunday was Pewee's second Titans game , but his first game to be a part of the Short bus tailgate party. We managed to keep a beer in his hand and entertained with Norm Chow impression's from Mark.

We also made sure that he had plenty to eat , with a mix of breakfast and supper.

The flag was presented by the Tennessee Highway Patrol and Metro Nashville Police in honor of the 9/11 tragedy. The worst singing of the Star Spangled Banner I've ever heard was done by Aaron Neville. I had to agree with Pewee when he said Aaron makes Roseanne sound good.

The fly over was pretty cool with Four F-22A Raptor's doing the duty.
Oh did I mention that the Titans got the shit beat out of them by the Jets. The Jets kicker did his best to help us out by missing Two feid goals and a extra point.

Labor day

I went out to Troy and Julie's on Labor day to check on my tree stands , to make sure they was still stable and ready for hunting. When I got there I found the family doing a little wood working in the shop. This first picture is Cassie and Erin building something or just getting in the way , I'm not sure which.

So I decided to teach them how to ride the 4 wheeler by them selves. This would get them out of the way and let Troy and Julie get on with their work.

I set the throttle at just above an idle and turned them loose. It got them out of the way , but I think I may have created a monster. Troy and Julie can go out there and let them ride every day in their spare time. No problem. After changing their life forever I stopped over at Nate and Jennie's for a nice supper and some rearranging of Ryan's bed room.

This is Jenny with her center piece Po on the computer. Po was sound a sleep but the dogs woke him up running around. A good week end and had fun. Thanks to all for the good time.

bound to happen

On Thurs. I met with Peewee and Nubbie out at the ranch for a ride to break in the new bike of the month. I could tell that I hadn't been riding for a couple of months. I was as rusty to say the least.

Here is Peewee in the creek section that we all are learning to love because we have not made it all the way through it in about a hundred tries. The new KT felt real good and performed just like it should , but the rider is what makes the difference. I crashed twice , one over a log and one over the bars coming down a hill.

I came out unscaved but the new paint on the KT didn't fare as well. I was hoping I could at least keep it pretty until the next trials , but so be it. Sorry Pap.`Peewee got the last picture.
