While I was away

Just in case you thought I fell off the edge of the world here is whats been going on the last couple of weeks.
We went to Ryan's ball game. Shown here playing first base. He played excellent , but the team let us down loosing 13 to 17.
We had a skating party for Cassie's birthday ( happy 11th ) . Very few injury's . Followed by a campfire at Troy's. Some drinking I think.

Went fishing and only had one blowout on the boat trailer. Here Barry shows off just one of the many ( not mini ) fish of the day.

Here are the last Two weeks of golf scores. The Beast was on fire until he took an 8 on the last hole. Then if Dave could have dropped those 2 Sevens this week he could have shot a course record.

We also rode Two Trials , One at Cape Girardeau Mo. and one in Goodlettsville Tn. No reported injuries and one flat tire. On the motorcycle that is. Whew after all that I need a nap.

Golf 5/6

Well Tuesday was a perfect day for a little time on the links. Temperatures in the high 70's no wind to speak of just gorgeous. Then there is the fact that you are human and you can screw up a great day with the human factor. All I can say about my score is " operator error " . No excuses! Had Dave been able to make a couple of putts that should have fell he would have shot the lights out. Did I mention that they aerated the greens the day before. If you have never played on greens that have been aerated your missing out. The Beast and Bubba with 2 par's each was also a hell of a job in the conditions it which we played. Hope you feel better Rick. Don't worry about practicing to much.
A little bowling note , the Seamen finished tied for 5th which paid $765. That should pay for our trip to Cape Girardeue Mo. this week end. The Trials starts at noon if ya'll want to come.

Commencement

Today Nathan Provence graduated from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville.
Nate now has his masters degree in the arts of teaching. He had a grade average over 3.5 that should let him punch his meal ticket where ever he wants. I'm very proud of him and who knows someday he might teach me how to spell. Congratulations Nate.
