Fearless Charlie's

Last weekend may have been the best weekend that I have had in a long time. A Trials that was added due to a cancellation of another. Fearless Charlie took the challenge of having the event at the Nash family grounds. On short notice you can't expect much. It takes a lot to set one of these up. If you have never had a Trials on your land you have to carve a trail for a loop and then come up with 20 sections. This requires a lot of time and hard work.

Charlie and wife Janey took on the challenge and also took it to a higher level.

The fire department came out to water down the parking area to hold down the dust. Ryan also helped.

Charlie offered a hay ride for those who wanted to watch the sections on the other side of the property.

You know that there is going to be a camp fire. Music , fun , peach cobbler and marsh mellows.

Here Tony and I watch Charlie dab in a ditch section.

Here is Tony's attempt.

Here is mine. Looks like we were paying attention.

If it wasn't enough to take the Trials on short notice Charlie made the awards. Stainless steel cut out with his plasma cutter and welded to the base. I have to hand it to you Charlie you have done a out standing job. The family and I had a ball and we can't wait for the next one.

Who's the Man around here?

What the Hell is going on here? I'm stuck behind a washer and dryer with a paint brush and all my I.T.S.A. buddies including Barry are out riding and setting up for the Trial next weekend in Paris Tn. at Fearless Charlie's.
This is a task that I started Two weeks ago and just needed to stay with it.
This project needed to be done a long time ago , but even though I can paint like a pro I hate it. Now I start putting down the hard wood floor.
But first we have to go to Fearless Charlie's for what might be the Trials of the year. The National Guard , the Boy scouts , hay rides to the sections it don't get any better than that that. Ya'll need to come out.

Hangin with friends

Sunday I got the opportunity to take Bubba and his son Rapheal fishing. Rapheal will going back to Detroit for school soon so we wanted to get a fishing trip in before he went back. With the temps in the 90's it was kind of slow , but Rapheal managed to get hooked up a couple of times. That was all we went for so it turned out to be a good day on the lake.
I would like to take him back out for hopefully a little more action , but we'll see.

Tuesday with the temps in the high 90's we still played. Only 3 of us showed up, but we made the most of it anyway. The Beast and Dave tied with 49 and the Cpt. had a 47.
