More golfin

Tuesday was beautiful. Warm temp's a little wind , it was great. Just the Beast , Hoghead and myself played. Hog and I had a good match going until the last hole were I done all I could do wrong to throw away a good round. We try to battle each other because the Beast is on fire. I don't know what we did to piss him off but it must have been bad cause he has opened a can of whoop ass on us 3 weeks in a row. I'm glad he's on my team for the tournament on the 14th. Here's the scores.
Cpt.....50
Hog....46
Beast..45 and that's with an 8 on the 4th hole.

Golfing

Tuesday was the first day of our new golf season. The time changed so we now have enough daylight to play after work. This was a special day because Troy was off and Barry had a dentist appointment so he didn't go to work. They met the Beast and myself at the golf course for some heavy drinking , or I mean golfing. Dave and Hoghead also played with us. We all had a little rust to knock off our games. Hoghead showed that he can still par a hole and never see the fairway.
In the picture it looks like Troy is getting into Barry's ass about something , but I'm sure he was just lying about his score on the last hole. Beautiful weather and a good time , you can't beat it.
scores
Troy.......47
Beast......47
Hoghead.52

Hauling the mail

It was bound to happen , but we didn't think it would be this soon. A couple of Young firemen were trying out the firetruck when they took a corner to fast and met up with Nate's mailbox. As bad as it looks the firemen were unhurt. Jenny took them in and gave them Girl scout cookies and milk till the Chief could get there. The good thing is that the mailbox didn't get a scratch.

Hanging out

This past week end I was hanging with Barry and Jereme , we was working on a house that had a little hail damage. This was a first for us that we didn't have a ladder that would reach the peek of the house. Our ladder completely extended and a 30 mph wind presented a small problem. So we called it quits and went to Hooters to regroup. After borrowing a ladder and coming back the next day when the wind was a manageable 20 mph we continued on. Now we can get on the first level of the roof but still can't reach the trim we go to plan 2. Put a 10 foot step ladder on the first roof to get to the second roof. Now on the very bottom and the very top of the first roof Barry could hold the trim for me to nail. In the middle he would push the trim up with a broom and I would hang over the edge of the roof and nail the trim on. Jereme was kind enough to take a picture when he had the trim formed and sit back and enjoyed the show. We got-er-done , but this was the first and last time for a house this high.
After we got done Barry and I went to Nate and Jenny's to help install a 200 pound mail box that Nate made. The box was made of 3/16 thick steel that Nate welded together and the post was a 4 inch pipe with a 1/4 inch wall. Nate dug a nearly 3 foot hole to put this thing in , but as heavy as it was it nearly dug its own hole. DO NOT HIT THIS With A BALL BAT! Here we see Nate covering the concrete with dirt after the cement truck left. If a tornado comes git in the mail box.
Oh ya, bowling sucks!!!!!
