Mom's 85th

On Easter Sunday April 12th we all managed to get together for Mom's 85th birthday in Iowa. Not an easy task when you are scattered all over the United States , but with the guidance of Lori we pulled it off.
In the front row l to r is Mom and Coke. The back row l to r is the 1st to the last. I don't want to say anything about oldest or anything like that cause some people might get a little pissed. OK Dolly is the oldest then Dave , Mike , Deane ,Rick , Richard , Rhonda and Lori as the Beaver. If you get that your at least 50 years old.
Here is Mom with just a few of the Grandkids , Great Grandkids and Great Great Grandkids.

L to R Barry , David , Jeff and Troy

L to R Rick getting his ass chewed on the phone and Mike.

Deane and Sue ( I'm not a barber anymore )

One of my favorite girls an icon to me is Cathy. I hope I spelled that right. Not only will she let her sister Sue walk around with a head of lettuce stuck to her tooth and not tell her , but she works for Miller Lite Beer. How sweet is that!!!!

The last photo is a mirror that Rick made for me. Now I don't know if you ever tried to take a picture of a mirror , but it's not as easy as you might think.

I do like the reflection of the bikes in it and the lower left hand corner is my dogs back. Thanks Rick.

Paris in the spring

This past weekend we had the pleasure of going to Fearless Charlie's in Paris for what Barry and I are calling the Super bowl of the I.T.S.A. trials series. Something for everyone , riding , fishing , camping , music and food from sister Wanda and the Boy scouts. A new twist was a Trials rodeo. Great weather and plenty of door prizes. Go here for more from Jesco.
But what may have been one of the biggest events was the Mennonite Mike sighting wearing a hat. This is as rare as seeing Bigfoot.
I would also like to wish Hockey Boy a Happy birthday. No ass whippings were handed out.
