The weekend started off on Saturday we put siding on a really nice mans house. Him and his wife were almost to nice. His wife apologized for not being there to cook us lunch because she had to work. This was a first for the siding guys. The job went well and
Caulkboy said we need to go play golf. So we went home , took a shower and thats what we did. Why don't alcohol tell you this is a bad idea instead of HELL YA that sounds good. I had a good time anyway. This brings us to Sunday.
At 6 in the morning a kid from work came over to have me weld some pieces on the frame of his truck. The rear axle was hitting the frame so we put these loops on so he could cut the frame out and lower his S10 so that the frame would drag the ground. Sounds like a good idea to me. No alcohol at this point. After that I went to rent a chipper to cut up the bushes I cut down. Thankfully Barry showed up to help. We chipped for an hour and a half and had a pile of mulch big enough for a house plant. This being fathers day a man who lives down the road stopped and told us if we would like we could take the brush to his house and he would burn it. He told us where to put it and drove off. So we took the chipper or pencil sharpener back and started loading the truck with brush. Five loads and a couple of hours and we're ready for the party.
All the rides had been approved by the Cpt. except one , the slip and slide. So being the test dummy or great Grandfather I am I took the plunge. It felt pretty damb good and cooled me off to. This brings us to Monday.
I took the day off so that Jereme and I could go fishing and we had to take all the old siding that we had been taking off to the dump. We had a good day on the lake netting some fish drinking a couple of beers and just relaxing. Now to explain this picture. Jereme is about 2 M&Ms short of 300 , so this 5 pound bass looks kinda small next to him , but I promise this is not trick photography. Now I'm headed to the steak house for supper and that should wrap up the weekend. Thanks to all the kids for a great weekend.
